Overview: MIE Mad’in Europe (MIE), was founded in Brussels in 2013. Since the beginning, its activities have focused on improving the visibility of heritage professions, including fine crafts, traditional crafts, building crafts, conservation-restoration, and heritage architecture. The objective is to increase the visibility of these professions, raise awareness about their impact on creating employment and a more sustainable world and to empower the transmission of skills to new generations. One of the main messages that MIE aims to transmit to the society, is that traditional crafts should be seen as professions of excellence and as an asset to achieve some of the “goals of the green deal”.

The National Museum in Gdańsk (MNG)

Overview: The National Museum in Gdańsk is a cultural institution kept by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and responsible for culture and protection of national heritage. The seat of the Museum is Gdańsk, and the area of its activity is the territory of the Republic of Poland, with particular emphasis on the Pomeranian Voivodeship, as well as abroad. The scope of activities of the Museum includes the collection of monuments and iconographic, photographic and documentary materials concerning Polish and foreign art, the history of the national anthem, the ethnography of Pomerania, European and
non-European cultures, and the activities of the theaters in Gdańsk, Gdynia andSopot. The National Museum in Gdańsk is among the oldest museums in Poland.

Georgian Arts and Culture Center (GACC)
Location: Georgia 🇬🇪
Overview: GACC is NGO with 25 years of experience in the fields of creative industries and preservation of cultural heritage. GACC is also an official representation of Europa Nostra in Georgia. Accredited NGO to UNESCO ICH convention and member of World Crafts Council Europe. Its mission is Preservation, promotion and sustainable use of Georgian Culture and Cultural Heritage; Supporting development of Georgian crafts and cultural industries; Fostering the studies of Georgian Culture and supporting the integration of Georgian scholars in international scholarly work; Strengthening economic viability and self-sustainability of cultural institutions, culture-based small and medium businesses, and individuals working in the field of arts and culture; Fostering the international relations and cultural exchange; Educational activities in the field of culture; Innovative approaches to exhibition activities.

Center for Artistic and Traditional Craftsmanship of Tuscany (ARTEX)
Location: Italy 🇮🇹
Overview: Artex is a company created on the initiative of Confartigianato and CNA. Artex has been working for 30 years with a specific objective: to protect, develop, innovate and promote artistic and traditional productions in Italy and in the main foreign markets, thanks also to special intersectoral projects. Since 1999 it has operated as a Center for Artistic and Traditional Craftsmanship of Tuscany, in close relation with the policies of the Tuscany Region regarding Artistic Craftsmanship. Since 2016 it has been a partner of the Municipality of Florence for actions to promote and enhance Florentine artistic craftsmanship. Since 2017, Artex has been carrying out projects aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the artistic sector thanks to the relationship with new technologies, digitalisation and sustainability: the activities are carried out in collaboration with Universities, research centres and specialized companies.
