Role in MINDCRAFTS: CEFS contributes its expertise in traditional building crafts, especially in motivating youth to pursue these professions. They focus on educational modules and practical workshops to engage young people, particularly those at risk of dropping out or in disadvantaged situations.
Mad'in Europe
Location: Belgium
Overview: Mad’in Europe is an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional European crafts. With a strong online presence through its portal, Mad’in Europe connects craftspeople with wider audiences and supports various initiatives that advocate for the value of traditional skills in contemporary society.
Role in MINDCRAFTS: Mad’in Europe will host the project’s outputs on its portal, ensuring long-term availability and dissemination. Their experience in previous Erasmus+ projects and knowledge of the crafts sector will be instrumental in the project’s success, particularly in reaching a broader European audience and ensuring the sustainability of the project’s impact.
La Table Ronde de l'Architecture (TRA)
Location: Belgium
Overview: TRA is a Belgian organization dedicated to heritage architecture and traditional crafts. They offer non-formal educational training that allows young people, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to explore the wide range of crafts professions through the lens of architectural heritage. TRA is also part of the international INTBAU network, which promotes traditional building techniques.
Role in MINDCRAFTS: TRA will lead the development and delivery of educational content, particularly focusing on heritage architecture and its connection to traditional crafts. Their approach will ensure that young participants gain a deep appreciation for the cultural and practical significance of these crafts.
Confartigianato-Imprese Udine
Location: Udine, Italy
Overview: UAF is the local branch of the National Crafts Association in Italy. It plays a crucial role in preserving traditional skills and vernacular architecture, which are increasingly threatened by a decline in specialized workers. UAF is committed to revitalizing these crafts by supporting training and educational initiatives that highlight their importance.
Role in MINDCRAFTS: UAF brings its vast network of crafts professionals and expertise in traditional techniques to the project. They will support the dissemination of knowledge and ensure the practical elements of the modules are deeply rooted in authentic, time-tested practices
