Biographical Info
As a versatile professional, I work in the cultural and creative industries, particularly at the interface between traditional craftsmanship and digital technologies.
My academic background reflects a rich and diverse journey: I started with a BEP in electronics, continued with a BAC PRO in graphic arts as an apprentice, then obtained a DNAP and a DNSEP Master's degree in Art at the École Supérieure d'Art de Lorraine. I completed this artistic training with a CAP in glass and crystal art, followed by a title of Glassmaker at the European Center for Research and Training in Glass Art.
My professional career is testament to this versatility. I started out as an assistant glassblower in a workshop in Luxembourg, where I played an active role in the artistic production and day-to-day management of the workshop. I then moved into graphic design in a communications agency, working on a variety of visual identity and publishing projects. At the same time, I co-founded the Ergastule workshop (Nancy), a space dedicated to the creation and production of multiples.
At Cerfav, I first had the dual role of graphic designer and trainer in digital tools, before becoming a digital project manager. In this role, I am in charge of the internal R&D project [G]host, an innovative initiative exploring the preservation of the intangible cultural heritage of glassmaking. I have led several projects for Cerfav and as a partner: “Blaschka Renaissance”, “The Christ of Wissembourg” (Drac Grand Est) and currently the European H2020 project “Craeft” and the “ReSOurce” project in partnership with the Gobelins School of Arts and Design.
I like to forge links between craft traditions and digital innovations, studying the preservation and transmission of traditional know-how in relation to contemporary digital technical systems such as motion capture, virtual reality and artificial intelligence.
